Registration for the fall Like Skills Experience classes opens on July 13th. First Tee of West Texas Golf and Life-Skills program will begin August 19th and will run for 8 weeks ending on October 8th. This program is for girls and boys starting at PLAYer and PAR level only. There will be two classes held each week and your child will only attend one class weekly, either on Wednesday or Thursday evening. Each class is limited to 20 participants. If your Jr. Golfer has certified out of PLAYer you will register them for PAR. All others will register for PLAYer classes.
Classes for the Fall will be held at Nueva Vista Golf Club, Hogan Park Golf Course, and Ranchland Hills Golf Club in Midland. All classes will start at 6:00 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m.
The fee for the entire 8 week program is $95.00 per participant and $85 for an additional sibling meeting the minimum age (7) requirement and is due at the time of registration. If your participant has golf clubs they are welcome to bring them. If not we will provide a loner set or offer a shared set for them to use throughout the entire program session for a one-time fee of $10. Financial aid is available. No participant will be turned away due to inability to pay. If you would like to request financial aid – enter the amount the amount in the field that says, “Amount You Are Willing to Pay, if Any”.
When registering a sibling, you will need to apply for financial aid and enter the discounted amount ($85) in the field that says, “Amount You Are Willing to Pay, if Any”.

Life skills experience
The First Tee Life Skills Experience is the core curriculum of The First Tee program. Participants progress through the various levels of the program by demonstrating knowledge learned during classes. Participants learn how to apply The First Tee Nine Core Values in real-life situations while they are learning golf skills that are targeted to their age and ability. Participants certify out of each level by completing the required number of class hours and passing written and skills tests. The levels of First Tee program are listed below.
