2020 FALL GOLF and Life Skills Experience Class Schedule


Registration for the fall Golf & Life Skills Experience opens on July 15th. First Tee West Texas Golf and Life-Skills classes will begin August 25th, 26th, and 27th depending on your location and will run for 8 weeks ending on October 13th, 14th, 15th. This program is for girls and boys at PLAYer and PAR levels only. Your child will only attend one class each week, either on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday evenings depending on location. Each PLAYer class is limited to 15 participants. PAR class will have 20-25 participants. If your Jr. Golfer will be certifying out of PLAYer August 1st and August 9th; you will register them for PAR. All others will register for PLAYer classes only.


Classes for the Fall will be held at Nueva Vista Golf Club, Hogan Park Golf Course, and Ranchland Hills Golf Club in Midland. New this fall is Ratliff Ranch Golf Links in Odessa. All classes at all locations will start at 6:00 p.m. and end no later than 7:30 p.m.


The fee for the entire 8 week program is $95.00 per participant and $85 for an additional sibling meeting the minimum age (7) requirement and is due at the time of registration. If your participant has golf clubs they are welcome to bring them. You can also purchase golf clubs through Golf Headquarters in Midland at a generous discount by informing them of being in First Tee. We will also provide a loner set or offer a shared set for them to use throughout the entire program session. No participant will be turned away due to inability to pay. If you would like to request financial aid – enter the amount in the field that says, “Amount You Are Willing to Pay, if Any”.

When registering a sibling, you will need to apply for financial aid and enter the discounted amount ($85) in the field that says, “Amount You Are Willing to Pay, if Any”.

First Tee Golf & Life Skills Experience is the core curriculum of First Tee’s program. Participants progress through the various levels of the program by demonstrating knowledge learned during classes. Participants learn how to apply First Tee’s Nine Core Values in real-life situations while they are learning golf skills that are targeted to their age and ability. Participants certify out of each level by completing the required number of class hours and passing written and skills tests. The levels of First Tee’s program are listed below.

ACE 2-Year program where participants set goals for college and career as well as how to give back to their community.Must be 14 years old or entering 9th grade. N/A
